Who Is Medea Bedoidze

Medea Bedoidze is a seasoned legal professional with over 8 years of courtroom experience as a government attorney in Georgia and recent litigation paralegal roles in the United States. From 2011 to 2019, Medea served in the Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia, ultimately as Senior Lawyer in the Legal Department. She represented the Ministry in all levels of court, prepared legislation, and ensured compliance with international legal standards. Her work frequently intersected with Refugee Law, where she built deep knowledge and meaningful collaborations with national and international partners, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), etc.

Through her continued engagement with UNHCR, USAID, and ECHR, Medea completed various trainings and professional development programs focused on refugee rights, asylum procedures, national security issues, and protection frameworks, strengthening her expertise in humanitarian legal issues.

Since moving to the U.S., Medea has transitioned into the private legal sector as a Litigation Paralegal. In these positions, she provides support in immigration litigation, including the preparation of legal filings, client coordination, and assisting attorneys before the trial process.
